Our story standards
- Obtain informed consent before publication and explain where the story may appear.
- Use changed names or remove identifying details when privacy or safety requires it.
- Seek appropriate guardian approval before publishing a child’s story or image.
- Avoid unnecessary health, financial, or family details.
- Never use exploitative imagery or fabricate experiences, quotations, or outcomes.
